A Registered Associate Nutritionist (AfN, UK) with a Master’s in Global Public Health Nutrition, Zahistha brings her unique fusion of clinical experience, research expertise, and community impact into every aspect of her work. From frontline public health initiatives to national campaigns, she has helped shape healthier lives, not just in numbers, but in stories.
She also holds certifications and licenses as Certified Diabetes Educator from the International Diabetes Federation, Certified Stop Smoking Practitioner from the National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (UK), Certified Sports Nutritionist from Medvarsity, and Certified in Behaviour Change Training (Level 1) from National Centre for Behaviour Change (UK).
She has supported over 500+ clients on their health journeys, including people reversing pre-diabetes, overcoming lifestyle-linked weight gain, and finding food freedom through personalized care. Apart from her distinctive experience and exposure in clinical setting, Zahistha is also an active advocate for food insecurity and ultra processed consumption, where, she had the privilege of being the Citizen Advisory Council Member for the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Administration as part of the UK Future Food Strategy 2030, where she observed and criticised the key elements that made up the reports and analysis to implement the strategy.
With GAFO+, Zahistha’s mission is to create a health platform that’s not only smart and sustainable but also deeply human, offering one-on-one consultations, corporate wellness programs, culturally inclusive dietary guidance, and accessible nutrition tools for modern living.
